Future Goals

While dreams may sometimes be bigger than the resources currently available, the Equity School team are ever ambitious, optimistic and dedicated to a wide variety of goals for the school. In whatever form it may take, Equity supporters want the school to be a central part of improving social stability throughout the community.

Below is a summary of our main goals of the school and roughly the costs involved in achieve them. Some goals are on-going, such as providing food, medical care and a basic salary for teachers. Others are project based like completing construction of the new schoolhouse, tablets, school vehicle or student scholarships for higher education.

What We Want to Achieve - The Essentials

2 Clean water and purifiers (drinking – cooking – cleaning) $450 per year

6  Stationary supplies (pens – chalk boards – writing books etc…) $200 per year
7  Text books and reference materials $300 per year
8  Printers $800
9 Teacher salaries (current Hellen is the primary teacher but as enrollment increases to approximately 100 children Hellen needs some help) $500 per month
10 School trips to high performing regional schools for knowledge exchange. Includes transport – accommodation and food for 105 people $600 per trip (semiannual)
